Bards no longer cast spells spontaneously. Instead, they must prepare spells ahead of time. They get one less spell per day for each level of spells they can cast (if this reduces spells per day for a spell level to 0, then a bard can only cast spells of that level if they have a sufficiently high enough Intelligence score to grant bonus spells of that level). Furthermore, they no longer have spells known but instead have a spellbook, like a wizard. Bard spells are no longer based on Charisma, but instead use Intelligence to determine bonus spells per day and saving throw DCs.
Ranger spells are no longer divine, but rather arcane. Furthermore, they have a spellbook, like a wizard, starting at 4th level. Ranger spells are no longer based on Wisdom, but instead use Intelligence to determine bonus spells per day and saving throw DCs.
