Many demons, even sometimes the lowliest quasit, see themselves as worthy of worship. Many mortals are willing to worship them, either in addition to, or instead of more mainstream deities. Some are disillusioned with more conventional religion, others merely seek to propitiate the demons. Whether this is tolerated or not, depends largely on the culture and dominant faith of the area in question. It was traditionally tolerated in the Regulan Empire, but is often seen as anathamea in regions that hold the memory of the empire in high regard due to a percieved role in the empire’s demise. Norden associate demons with the Jotun and usually don’t tolerate their worship.
